Ooh... moondance... you might be right about "mine"... you are smarter than me!
And I was too fast to respond somewhat harshly...
Soup... I apologize.
**this is the response to your comments about Mark Andreessen's Article, posted in Emil:
Dear Soup,
Recently I spoke to my sister who said "as Republicans we don't have a choice this election", implying we must vote for the presumptive republican candidate (partisanship view point, that is us against them). I stated my choice is to be the Libertarian vote this year, Bob Barr, but NO ONE in the media is talking about him. I do have a choice, and I will most likely be voting libertarian this election. If disgruntled Dems, Reps, Inds voted for Bob Barr, he would win, then this country would see a real change, and not the two party monopoly that has plagued it for years.
What is a libertarian? One who believes in life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness - ie, the constitution. Also, it's about respecting others views by the attitude of live and let live. It is a balanced view. AND, Bob Barr believes we must pull out of Iraq, with a a logical plan, starting as sooner rather than later. A libertarian view is a combination of the democratic and republican ideals, with it's own take on the American way. But, to be fair, everyone needs to make up their own mind...and at least show respect for the other candidates.
Come on Soup from Texas, write something other than a slur, won't you? But, did you mean to say "mine" such as, "He does not have mine!", meaning "my vote", as Mark Andreessen wrote which Emil posted. If so, it was an expression, not a slur.
It seems logical to assume you meant to say, 'He does not have 'mine' (not mind)...I think that's what you meant.
Welcome to Public Post,

***excuse me, there are some media organizations speaking of and interviewing Bob Barr. I said in the above comment that "no one in the media is talking about him" - which I knew was incorrect when I said it. We, humans, tend to exaggerate at times, as I did above. I think a more correct statement would be, NO ONE in the media believes Bob Barr has a shot at winning. Do I disagree!
